Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Handyman Dan! By using our website and services, you agree to these friendly Terms & Conditions. If something doesn’t make sense or you don’t agree, please reach out to us before booking.

1. Our Services

We provide handyman services including repairs, installations, maintenance, and small home improvements across the UK. We aim to make your home safe and tidy!

2. Bookings & Quotes

  • All jobs must be confirmed by Handyman Dan before work begins.
  • Quotes are estimates and may change depending on the work required.
  • Some jobs may require a deposit, which we’ll let you know about when booking.
  • Payment is due when the work is finished, unless we’ve agreed otherwise.

3. Payments

We accept cash, bank transfers, and card payments. Late payments may incur a fee in line with UK law.

4. Cancellation

  • You can cancel free of charge if you give us 24 hours’ notice.
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice may mean a small fee.
  • Emergency call-outs may have special cancellation rules, which we’ll explain when booking.

5. Our Responsibility

We always aim to do a great job. We’re responsible for work we carry out, but we cannot be held responsible for indirect losses, or damage not caused by our work. Any property damage is covered up to the value of the service fee unless UK law says otherwise.

6. Safety

  • Please make sure our team has safe access to your property.
  • We follow all UK health and safety laws.
  • If a job is unsafe, we may need to pause or refuse work.

7. Content & Copyright

All images, text, and content on this website belong to Handyman Dan or our partners. Please don’t copy it without permission.

8. Privacy

We care about your data. Check our Privacy Policy to see how we use it.

9. Third-Party Links

Sometimes we link to other websites for convenience. We aren’t responsible for what’s on those sites.

10. Complaints & Disputes

If you’re unhappy with our service, contact us at contact@DIYdan.co.uk. We’ll work with you to sort things out. If we can’t, we may use alternative dispute resolution before legal steps.

11. UK Law

These terms follow the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with in courts here.

12. Updates

We might update these Terms occasionally. We’ll post changes here, and continuing to use our site means you agree with them.
